• Jessa Pereira - Artistic Director

    Jessa Pereira is a Dancer, instructor and Choreographer originally from the Comox valley. She began her dance training at the age of three. She has studied at a number of dance institution including the Prestigious Goh Ballet Academy. Where she has shaped and fostered her love for dance with technique, musicality and style. Jessa has focused on her love of ballet learning a vast range of styles and repertoire while working with world renowned teachers and choreographers such as Donald Sales, Stacey Tookey, Diana Kaarina, Jian Rong Sheng, James Amar, Nikolay Levitskiy, Vera Solovyeva, Paul DeMasson, Anna-Marie Holmes, Peter Boal, Paola Hartley, Isabel Yuan, Alejandro Vargas, Yao Ping Zhu, Chun Che, Choo Chiat Goh, Lin Yee Goh and Chan Hon Goh and many others. She has gone on multiple tours throughout the lower mainland,Vancouver Island and Europe and China as a company member. She danced in the closing ceremony on the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Jessa has had the opportunity to grow as an artist and shared the stage with multiple famous ballet dancers from around the world. Over the last couple years she has been sharing her love of dance with the younger generations through teaching around both Vancouver Island and the Vancouver area. Jessa hopes to further spread the arts throughout the community. Creating more opportunities for young dancers to flourish.

  • Vlad Pereira - Vice Director

    Vlad Pereira is a Ballet Dancer / Choreographer & Coach with years of experience in Ballet.

    Vlad was born in Brazil and he took his first real dive into ballet at the tender age of twelve by undergoing dance studies in Classical Ballet. From a fun activity, Vlad soon developed overwhelming passion for ballet and; consumed by his love for art and ballet, he decided to undergo further professional studies. This led to his early years of professional ballet training at the Academia de Ballet Lina Penteado, in Campinas, Brazil, where he continuously earned top spot in the Royal Academy of Dance Examinations. At the age of eighteen, Vlad received Full Scholarship to study ballet at the Centro de Arte y Ballet, in Mexico City. Under the guidance and tutelage of Tita Ortega, Carol Arroyo y Jetzemani Velazco he finished the R.A.D. examinations while simultaneously taking classes with the National Dance Company of Mexico for two and a half years.

    Vlad soon earned himself another full scholarship to dance at the prestigious Goh Ballet Academy and got an invitation to join the Goh Ballet Youth Company in Vancouver, Canada. During his time there, he performed a vast variety of repertoires and styles, toured to several cities in Canada and China and had a wonderful opportunity to work with world renowned teachers and choreographers such as: Jian Rong Sheng, James Amar, Nikolay Levitskiy, Vera Solovyeva, Paul DeMasson, Anna-Marie Holmes, Peter Boal, Paola Hartley, Isabel Yuan, Alejandro Vargas, Yao Ping Zhu, Chun Che, Choo Chiat Goh, Lin Yee Goh and Chan Hon Goh.

    In 2014 – after a successful career, he left the stages to work backstage Teaching, Choreographing and Producing.

    Vlad currently resides in the Comox Valley, BC, where he plans on offering classes and performances opportunities to young dancers looking to build successful careers.
